Our Landscape Construction Process in Perth

Perth’s outdoor lifestyle is hard to replace when it works. Getting there, whether you’re starting with a sand block in Alkimos or a garden that needs a complete overhaul in Quinns Rocks, takes a clear plan and a team that manages every moving part.

Kinetic Landscaping handles your landscape construction from first consultation through to final handover. Design, council approvals, materials, trades, and the build itself. Jeremiah runs every project on-site, so you deal with the same person from the first call to the last walkthrough.

We’re a certified LIAWA member and have been delivering landscape construction services across Perth’s northern suburbs for 25+ years. Below is exactly how a project works.

Step 1 – Landscape Construction Consultation

Jeremiah visits your property and spends time understanding what you actually need from the space. Entertaining? Low maintenance? Room for kids to run around? The consultation covers your vision, your budget, and the site conditions, including anything that affects the build, like cap rock, sandy soil, or council setbacks.

You leave the meeting with a clear picture of what’s possible and what happens next.

Step 2 – Design, Quote &
Approvals

We put together a detailed quote specific to your project. For larger or more complex landscape construction work, Jeremiah may come back with questions before finalising the numbers. Some projects require council approvals before work can start. We handle that process and let you know upfront if it applies to yours.

You’ll receive a full itemised quote to review, ask questions on, and approve online when you’re ready.

Step 3 – Landscape Construction
& Build

Once you approve the quote, the build begins. We coordinate every trade, manage the site, and select materials suited to your brief and your block. If something comes up mid-build, we tell you straight away and work through it with you.

This is where the paving, decking, retaining walls, lawn, reticulation, and all other landscape construction work gets done. Managed by us from start to finish.

Step 4 – Handover, Maintenance & Ongoing Support

When the build is complete, Jeremiah walks you through everything. You get a proper handover that covers how to look after your space across Perth’s seasons, including reticulation schedules, plant care, and any maintenance notes specific to your garden.

If you’d prefer to hand ongoing care back to us, we offer seasonal maintenance to past Kinetic clients.

Maintenance is offered to past clients only.

Frequently Asked Questions

Timeline depends on the scope of work and whether council approvals are needed. Once consultation and quoting are complete, most landscape construction projects take anywhere from a few weeks to several months. We give you a specific estimate during the quoting phase.

A rough budget range, an idea of how you want to use the space (entertaining, kids, low-maintenance, or something specific like a pool surround or retaining wall), and any reference images you’ve saved. Even a few photos of your block on your phone help Jeremiah understand the site before arriving.

As much or as little as you want. We offer full project management and keep you updated at key stages. If you’d rather be more hands-on at certain points, that works too. Either way, Jeremiah is your direct contact throughout the project.

We lock in a final design before construction begins. Mid-build changes are sometimes possible but usually affect the timeline or budget. We’ll always tell you the impact before anything changes.
